Ingredients:

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp cumin seeds

2–3 dry red chilies

1 tbsp chana dal

1 tbsp urad dal

1 small lemon-sized tamarind

2–3 garlic cloves

Salt to taste

A few curry leaves

1 tsp red chili powder (optional)
